Description

Our Capon LX model is an innovative combination of the well-known Chinese crate heat cooking system and a charcoal grill, all completely made of 304 stainless steel for long life.

The system called Chinese crate is a method that consists of putting the meat to be baked inside the stainless steel crate and then closing it with a thick lid where the charcoal is going to be placed, which is going to be the external heat source that is going to cook the meat.

This type of cooking causes the heat of the burning coal to be the one that generates the release of the juices of the meat which will mix with the marinade that you chose and slowly bake it obtaining a very soft meat that can be cut with a butter knife.

The Chinese crate is commonly used to cook pork with different types of marinades, it also works very well for lamb or game meat that needs long periods of cooking.

While this happens inside the Chinese crate, in the upper part the burning coal is used with a stainless steel grill that will cook the faster cooking meats such as beef, hamburgers, chicken and fish as well as sausages and vegetables that you want to grill.

And as a third feature, we have the Peruvian sierra-style grill where meats such as lamb, rabbit, deer and other types of game are cooked over a slow but direct heat. This cooking system is widely used in the central highlands of the Andes of Peru and is a traditional style that brings family and friends together around the fire to share conversations and drinks while cooking this meat.

This complete system of oven, grill and rotisserie is very versatile and once you have mastered all the cooking styles, you can use them at the same time or individually at the time you decide.

The Chinese crate insulation system does not allow heat to be lost through the walls and makes it very safe to use indoors or outdoors, it has a system of wheels with brakes that allow you to move it to the most convenient place you choose.
